For beginner and advanced artists
Three Sessions: Sundays 1:30pm-3:00pm
April 23, April 30, & May 7
Local artist, Heather Leigh Corey, will motivate students to see, experience, and experiment with gesture and expression. You will develop basic skills with observing and drawing the human form, and learn fundamental exercises in gesture, contour, and tonality.
While working on still life drawings, students will learn to emphasize light using graphite, charcoal, white chalk, and blending materials. Classes will end with a brief critique to help artists improve skills and create stronger drawings.
Registration required, stop by or call 201-670-3970. Students encouraged to attend all three classes or as many as possible.
Heather L. Corey received her BA from Moravian College and MFA from the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts. She is currently focusing on her collection, Love Corsetry, and maintains a studio in Glen Rock.
